Karabiner Elements for Adobe Digital Editions

I have updated my custom scripts for Karabiner Elements, which I use for creating a HyperKey1 from my Caps Lock button. I also use Karabiner to manage the F1-12 keys in specialist apps, which you can read about here. I have added a new script to deal with the worst app for reading DRM books, Adobe Digital Editions.

ADE will make MacOS play the error sound when you use the down or up arrow to navigate around your book. Which drives me crazy. So here is a little script to make the arrow keys behave as if they do fn+arrow key. Essentially making the arrow keys always do Page Up and Page Down.

It’s not the most elegant solution, (that would be f&^@*£$g Adobe making the app not terrible) but it solves the problem enough to stop me going crazy.

Hopefully it helps someone else too. You can download the script from my GitHub repo.
