Alfred Battery
Simple battery checking for Alfred
Alfred is a brilliant launch bar app that allows the creation of workflows to extend the functionality of the app. I created this little battery checking workflow to easily check your mac’s battery level and report it in a simple notification. Designed to make checking your battery on MacOS as easy as possible.
Simply download the workflow from the Alfred Gallery and by simply typing bbl into Alfred you can check your battery status.

System Requirements
- Alfred v5.0.0 or newer
- MacOS Sonoma 14.0 (23A344)
May work on older versions of MacOS but hasn’t been tested.
Set Up
You can change the trigger for the workflow in the configuration window.
- Go to Alfred -> Alfred Preferences -> Workflows -> Battery Level -> Configure Workflow
- Change the
Trigger keyword. - Select
Savewhen you are done and your trigger will now work.
Usage
Simply type bbl in your Alfred toolbar to see the current battery level in a notification. You can modify the default keyword from the Configure menu in the Alfred Preferences.
